• Banks and credit unions: Closed Thursday.
• Buses (Metro Transit): Buses will run on a Sunday schedule Thursday.
• Government offices: City, county, state and federal offices closed Thursday. Some offices closed Friday as well. Check with individual offices. The El Paso Board of County Commissioners will not hold it's meeting Thursday.
• Libraries: All Pikes Peak District Library branches closed Thursday.
• Post office: Offices closed and no mail service Thursday.
• Public schools: Closed Thursday. Most schools closed other days as well for Thanksgiving break. Check with individual schools.
• The Gazette: Closed Thursday.
• The Citadel: Closed Thursday; open 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Friday.
• Chapel Hills: Closed Thursday; open 6 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday.
• Major department and grocery stores: Some stores open regular hours, some with shortened hours and some are closed Thursday. Check with individual store.

Kiowa Ave. Free shuttle to and from the City Auditorium available from New Hope Shelter, Springs Rescue Mission, Continental Cleaners, 1638 S.
