Penrose-St. Francis announces January drives
The Blood Bank at Penrose-St. Francis Health Services has set its January schedule. People can donate at the Blood Bank itself, at Penrose Hospital at 2222 N. Nevada Ave., or attend one of the community blood drives, the hospital system said in a news release.
Blood Bank hours:
-Monday, 10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
-Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
-Friday, 7 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
People can walk in or set appointments by calling 776-5822.

-Jan. 7, 9 to 11:30 a.m., Delta Airlines, 7770 Drennan Road.
-Jan. 12, 2 to 6:00 p.m., St. Francis Medical Center, 6001 Woodmen Road, in the mobile blood center called The Blood Vessel.
-Jan. 17, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Divine Redeemer Catholic Church,
1520 E. Yampa.
-Jan. 19, 3 to 7 p.m., Tri-Lakes Cares, 235 Jefferson Street,
Monument, in The Blood Vessel.
-Jan. 21, 2 to 7 p.m., Our Lady of the Woods church, 116 West Street,
Woodland Park.
-Jan. 24, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., St. Michael’s, 7400 Tudor Road, in The Blood Vessel.
-Jan. 26, 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Coronado High School, 1590 W. Fillmore.
