Safeway robbed by man armed with knife

A man armed with a knife held up a Safeway supermarket this morning, escaping after demanding cash, Colorado Springs police reported.
The robbery, happened at 9:02 a.m. at the supermarket at 2210 N. Wahsatch Ave. in the Bon Shopping Center. Police set up containment in the area but were unable to find the armed robber.
