Par Avion Food Emporium, 1872 Southgate Road, has closed.

Jim and Karen Sebastiani opened Sebastiani's Gourmet World in 1994 at 4510 Oro Blanco as a purveyor of specialty imported cheeses, meats and gourmet foods.

In 2000 the store name was changed to Par Avion, French for "by air," because the owners used vendors who sent orders of fresh fish overnight. In 2003 the store moved to the Southgate Road location.

The phone at Par Avion has been disconnected, and the owners could not be reached for comment.
