8% of Springs voters have returned ballots
Nearly 8 percent of voters in Colorado Springs have returned their mail ballots for the April 7 city election, according to a city tabulation completed Wednesday.
The city mailed 196,642 ballots since March 17. Of those, 15,050 voted ballots have come back to the Colorado Springs City Clerk's Office.
The number of ballots returned is lower than the 30,000-plus returned ballots reported earlier this week - that includes ballots that came back as undeliverable. The deadline to return ballots is 7 p.m. on Election Day. Details are at www.springsgov.com/election.
