Nov. 4
• Just before 3 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Manitou Avenue to take a report of a cold theft. The theft occurred between 10-31-09 and 11-04-09. A list of missing items was taken. No arrests were made.
• Officers responded to the 000 block of Park Avenue on the report of people smoking marijuana. Upon arrival, officers contacted three parties who had been smoking marijuana. All three parties were served municipal court summonses and released.

Nov. 5

• Officers investigated a barking dog complaint in the 000 block of Delaware Road. The victim reported she had an ongoing problem with a dog that continually barks in the area. The complainant filed a report and a verbal warning was issued. No arrests were made.

Nov. 6

• At approximately At 12:48 a.m., officers on patrol in the 300 block of Beckers Lane saw that a front window had been broken at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post. It is unknown when the damage occurred. The building was secure and no further damage was located. No arrests were made.
• Officers investigated a reported theft from Gorman Auction in the 100 block of Manitou Ave. The victim reported a 3’ by 8’ advertising banner that had been attached to a fence on the south side of the parking lot was missing. The victim reported the theft had occurred sometime the previous evening. The banner, which read “Auction Saturday,” was valued at $200. No arrests were made.
• Officers contacted a male party attempting to leave the 7-Eleven parking lot at 339 Manitou Ave. Upon contact, officers observed several indicators that the driver was under the influence. The driver failed to perform the voluntary roadside maneuvers satisfactorily. The driver was arrested, cited for DUI, Driving Under Restraint and having an Open Alcoholic Beverage Container and later served a summons and released.
• At 9:40 p.m., officers responded to Serpentine Road in reference to a traffic accident in which a car had hit a deer. Officers investigating at the scene found no fault of the driver. The animal was fatally wounded.
