Man seriously hurt in I-25 crash
A 31-year-old Colorado Springs man was seriously injured in a one-car rollover on Interstate 25 early today 13 miles north of Pueblo.
Colorado State Patrol troopers said Ignacio Martinez swerved across two northbound lanes of the freeway when his 2008 Mazda went off the left side of the road. The car rolled several times before vaulting over a barbed wire fence. Martinez was thrown from the car. He was airlifted to Parkview Hospital in Pueblo.
The state patrol said he was not wearing a seatbelt and that alcohol is a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
