141 Democratic Convention-related arrests

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

DENVER - Authorities say there have been a total of 141 arrests related to the Democratic National Convention since Saturday.

An ABC News producer arrested on trespass and interference charges Wednesday outside the Brown Palace Hotel was released on $500 bond later in the day.

ABC News senior vice president Jeffrey Schneider says producer Asa Eslocker was working on a story on the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors at the convention and keeping track of who was coming and going from the luxury hotel.

The Joint Information Center, a multi-agency operation that handles media inquiries during the convention, says officers had repeatedly told Eslocker not to block the sidewalk and a hotel entrance.

Schneider says other reporters and journalists were on the sidewalk at the time, and he hopes the charges will be dropped when authorities see the video of the arrest.

What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
