County may cut developers slack
El Paso County commissioners are considering the possibility of easing restrictions for developers.
They've scheduled two work sessions to discuss proposals that could provide regulatory relief and reduced fees related to county land-use administrative procedures.
The county said in a release that the proposals are intended to reduce barriers to business and provide efficient, cost-effective service to land-use applicants.
Meetings will be held at 1:30 p.m. March 19 in the County Office Building, 27 East Vermijo Ave., third floor. The second meeting will be held March 26. Time and location will be announced later. A public hearing on the changes is slated for the March 31 commission meeting.
