Update: toddler's slaying

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

The suspect: Jules Lynn Cuneo, 34, is accused of killing 2-year-old AlizĂ© Vick. She originally told investigators she was bouncing the girl on her lap when she fell on a coffee table. She later admitted pushing the girl in “anger or frustration,” then throwing her across a table where Vick hit her head, according to investigators.

What's new: Fourth Judicial District Judge Larry Schwartz determined Monday that there is enough evidence to send Cuneo to trial on charges of first-degree murder and child abuse causing death. Cuneo pleaded not guilty.

What's next: A trial has been scheduled for July 28. Cuneo remains at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center without bond and could face life in prison without parole if convicted of first-degree murder.

Ted Haggard is starting new church at his Colorado Springs home.
What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
