D-11 superintendent wins tech award
Colorado Springs School District 11 Superintendent Nicholas Gledich was selected for a national honor for exemplifying outstanding leadership and vision in using technology to advance his district’s educational goals.
Gledich is one of the top ten superintendents selected by eSchool News, a publication network of eSchool Media Inc., for the 12th annual Tech-Savvy Superintendent Awards. He and other winners winners will be honored in a ceremony at the American Association of School Administrators’ annual conference in Houston Feb. 18.
Staff from eSchool News noted Gledich's tech accomplishments in District 11, including bringing wireless access to all schools and funding specifically tagged to support technology in classrooms. Students use a variety of tech programs to learn subjects, including math.
