Ent plans educational programs on real estate
Buying a first home, reverse mortgages, building a residence, homebuying tips among topics
Ent Federal Credit Union will host a series of educational programs on real estate during its third annual Real Estate Week beginning Saturday.
Ent’s Real Estate Solutions division, specializing in mortgages, home-equity services, construction and land loans, will present the seminars on the following topics. They are free and open to the public:
- First-time homebuyers: Saturday, 10 to noon. Ideal for first-time home buyers or those who haven’t owned a home in three years.
The seminar shows how to get a home quickly and at minimal expense. Learn about Ent’s program for first-time homebuyers.
- Reverse mortgages: Monday, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
For those looking for an additional source of income, reverse mortgages may give homeowners who are at least age 62 access to the equity they have in their homes via a lump sum payment, line of credit or fixed monthly payments.
- Building a home, from the ground up: Tuesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Learn about Ent’s construction loan options.
- What’s new in mortgage lending: Wednesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Learn what’s new in mortgage lending, including an overview on pre-qualification and the simplified loan application process.
- Homebuying tips from the pros: Thursday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. Homebuying tips from experts in town.
