Portions of zoo closed to public

The African Rift Valley exhibit at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo will be closed to the public from Thursday through Wednesday, Nov. 19. The walking route through the exhibit from the meerkat exhibit to the view tower, which houses the stairway and elevator, will be closed for construction.
Access to the upper level of the view tower and African exhibit will also be closed from the zoo's main road during that period. Safari Café and the Tot Train will also be closed during this time.
The concrete walkway is to be replaced, eliminating the sloping grade.
