Arson suspected in fire that damaged garage

Arson is suspected in a fire that caused an estimated $4,000 in damage to a garage at 2519 N. Nevada Ave. on Wednesday night, the Colorado Springs Fire Department said.

The fire was reported shortly after 9 p.m., and was extinguished within 15 minutes, said Lt. J.J. Halsey, fire Department spokesman.

"We have no suspects at this time," said Halsey. "But (investigators) are following up on other leads at this time."
