ATV chase ends with man's arrest

FLORENCE — An alleged theft suspect led deputies on an all-terrain vehicle chase and foot race Tuesday before he was apprehended and jailed.

Fremont County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to two different addresses in the Florence area on reports of burglary and theft. Among items reported stolen was a four-wheel-drive ATV, said Andrea Cooper, sheriff’s spokeswoman.

When deputies spotted the stolen ATV, a pursuit of suspect James Cain, 35, ensued.
