Penrose fountain might have to close for the summer

Unless $25,000 is raised by Memorial Day, the Julie Penrose Fountain in America the Beautiful Park will not operate this summer.
The "Friends of Julie Penrose Fountain," a part of the nonprofit Pikes Peak Community Foundation, is accepting donations to keep the fountain flowing.
