Police respond to early-morning bar stabbing

THE GAZETTE

A man was stabbed in the neck just before last call at a watering hole near the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Interstate 25, Colorado Springs police said this morning.

Police say they were called to Benny's Bar at 517 W. Colorado Avenue just before 1:30 this morning and arrived to find a man bleeding from a stab wound.

Patrons said the stabber ran away after the fight.

The bleeding man was taken to a hospital where he was patched up. Officers said the wound wasn't life-threatening. His name wasn't released.

The stabber, also unidentified, remained at large.

Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
