Elderly woman accused of driving getaway car

GRAND JUNCTION — A 73-year-old woman is facing charges of trying to elude police and burglary after Grand Junction police accused her of driving a getaway car.
Barbara West posted a $7,500 bond Thursday at the Mesa County Jail after being advised in court of the possible charges.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (http://bit.ly/zTBICw), police arrested West after they got a tip of a burglary in progress and pursued a vehicle as it sped away.
Police said two men jumped out of the vehicle and ran before West was arrested. Police are still seeking the two men.
