Police: Man fired flares before arrest

THE GAZETTE

A stun gun, a flare gun and alcohol don’t mix.

One man was arrested at Finish Line Lounge, 1812 E. Monument St., after shooting the flare gun at a bar worker in the parking lot.

Colorado Springs Police said Christopher Brock, 42, and a worker got into a tiff at closing time.

Police said Brock was in his car when he removed a stun gun from his glove box, which the bar worker grabbed.

Brock then took a flare gun from the center console and fired into the ground and toward the worker. No one was injured.

Brock was cited for suspicion of reckless endangerment and DUI.
