Search for missing man continues

A family in Colorado Springs is searching for a 41-year-old man who has been missing for nearly a month.

Charles R. "Rich" Harper of Colorado Springs was last seen June 8 at a Sunday-morning church service at the Black Forest Chapel, and on June 11 he e-mailed a sister. He hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Harper, a former Air Force member who worked as a day trader, is not the type of person who would leave without contacting his family, a relative said. His credit cards and cell phone haven't been used, his apartment off Austin Bluffs Boulevard looks much as it did when he was living there, and his mailbox is filled with unchecked mail.

Anyone with information about Harper's whereabouts is asked to call police at 444-7000.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
