Man shot while walking home

A man was shot in the back with a shotgun while walking home in south Colorado Springs Sunday evening.

According to Colorado Springs Police, Andyz Deleon Arriola was walking home about 6 p.m. from work at a 7-11 store at Fountain Boulevard and Chelton Road when he heard a blast and felt blood on his neck. A friend took him to Memorial Hospital Central where he was treated for shotgun pellet wounds to his left shoulder and clavicle. He was released from the hospital after he was treated for his wounds.
