Halloween shooting victim identified

A man who was found with multiple gunshot wounds in a downtown bank parking lot early Sunday morning has been identified.

According to police, Bob Maiava, 29, was involved in a disturbance in Sodo’s nightclub 527 S. Tejon St., just minutes from the shooting. He was found by police in the nearby parking lot of the Bank at Broadmoor, and taken to Memorial Hospital Central where he was listed in serious condition Tuesday.

Anyone who witnessed the disturbance or might have information is encouraged to call the Colorado Springs Department at 444-7000 or they can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
