THE GAZETTE

Paul Isenstadt, director of program and residential services for ComCor, Inc., Wednesday was named chairman of the Colorado Community Corrections Coalition.

The Coalition works with the state Legislature, Gov. Bill Ritter and local communities "to ensure the continuation of sound community correction programs," Isenstadt said. "We're highly committed to community safety as well as treatment of offenders."

Isenstadt has worked for ComCor for almost 20 years. The not-for-profit organization runs residential - about 353 beds - and non-residential programs in El Paso County for offenders to re-integrate into society. Users of the residential program pay $17 per day.

"We're always looking for new and innovative programs," Isenstadt said.

Ted Haggard is starting new church at his Colorado Springs home.
What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
