Memorial service today for 4 Carson soldiers

A memorial service for four Fort Carson soldiers killed in Afghanistan will be held today on the mountain post.

The soldiers from the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, were killed in two separate attacks last month.

Cpl. Jonathan M. Walls of West Lawn, Pa; Pfc. Richard K. Jones of Person, N.C.; and Pvt. Patrick S. Fitzgibbon of Knoxville, Tenn. were killed on Aug. 1. Matthew L. Ingram of Newton, Miss. was killed Aug. 21.
