THE GAZETTE

Repairing a massive pothole will temporarily close one lane of Interstate 25 on Tuesday.

Beginning at 10 a.m., the right lane of the northbound interstate will be closed at the Northgate/Gleneagle Drive interchange so crews can fill a pothole 6 feet wide, 2 feet long and 6 inches deep.

The speed limit in the work area will be reduced from 75 to 55 mph.

The repairs include part of the off-ramp lane, but access will remain from I-25 to Northgate/Gleneagle.

Extensive delays are expected, and alternate routes are advised, including State Highway 83. Work is expected to be completed by 1 p.m.

CDOT is performing the work during the day since the asphalt requires warmer temperatures to be effective.

Harrison school district closer to pay for performance for teachers
Should teacher pay be based on performance?
Yes. Teachers should be rewarded for good work, and poor performers should be weeded out.
No. Pay for performance is just a back-door way of blaming teachers for other problems in the education system.
It depends on what "performance" means. It's good if there's a fair measurement of performance.
Undecided.
