SUNRISE: New library hire spots man on Crimestoppers list

THE GAZETTE

Now here is a guy who sounds like a good hire.

While being trained Wednesday on the Crimestoppers database at the Ruth Holley Branch of the Pikes Peak Library at 685 N. Murray Blvd., a new library employee noticed a man in the library who looked an awful lot like a photo on his computer screen.

Police were called and officers identified the suspect as Tony Blue, 47, who was wanted for aggravated robbery and a parole violation. Officers arrested and searched Blue, reportedly finding a BB gun and a robbery note. Blue was booked into the county jail.
