Fresh off his nomination at this week's Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Arizona Sen. John McCain is holding a rally today in Colorado Springs.

The rally begins at 11 a.m. at the Jet Center, 1575 Aviation Way, near the Colorado Springs Airport. Tickets were sold out, and more than 10,000 people are expected to be in attendance.

McCain will be accompanied by his wife, Cindy, and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, his pick for vice president, according to the campaign.
