THE GAZETTE

At long last there will be a new market-deli in the former Par Avion store in the Broadmoor Towne Center.
Jerry Mollica, owner of Mollica’s Italian Market & Deli, 985 W. Garden of the Gods Road, will open his second location in the Southgate location in mid-October. It will have the same name but with the addition of “Specialty Market with Finer Foods.”
There will be a larger restaurant area serving the Mollica-style foods. The market area will have a broad selection of dry goods, meats, cheeses, seafood and poultry. There will be a prepared-food area and deli.
Lunch will be handled as it is at the north store, where you place an order at the counter and pick it up. Dinner will have table service. Hours will be 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
