Sandra Bullock stars in this in this story that tells the remarkable true story of All-American football player Michael Oher's journey from impoverished Memphis teen to college graduate and NFL rookie.
As a teenager Oher was surviving on his own when he was spotted on the street by Leigh Anne Tuohy (Bullock). After learning that the young man attends her daughter's school she takes him in out of the cold for the night.
Michael became a member of the Tuohy family, who nurtured his abilities both on and off the football field, resulting in an inspiring story that is still unfolding today as Oher plays for the Baltimore Ravens.
Quinton Aaron (Michael Oher) makes his major feature debut in the film which also stars Tim McGraw and Kathy Bates.
