4 teens arrested in break-ins

Police arrested four teenagers in a string of vehicle break-ins early Monday morning in east-central Colorado Springs.

Stetson Bruce, 18, and three juveniles were taken into custody on suspicion of first degree criminal trespass, a felony, according to Sgt. Mike Roy of the Colorado Springs Police Department.

A resident reported seeing multiple men breaking into vehicles a little after 4 a.m. near Wold Avenue and Zane Place, which is southeast of Academy Boulevard and Maizeland Road.

At least three cars were burglarized; police are still investigating.

Police found several stolen items — such as tools and other valuables — with the teens. Those items have been returned to their owners.
