Traffic stop leads to drug arrest

A Colorado Springs police officer's pulling over a driver he saw weaving near Morning Sun and North Academy Boulevard around 2 p.m. Saturday led to the seizure of marijuana, methamphetamine and cash, police reported online.

The driver, Christopher Arpaio, 31, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of illegal drugs with intent to sell. His passenger, Audrey Hill or Audrey Joyce, 20, also was arrested, but the online report did not specify for what.

Police reported finding nearly 11 pounds of marijuana, 2.2 grams of methamphetamine and $4,000 in cash in the car.
