The same man may have pulled two robberies overnight in Colorado Springs, police said this morning.

The man, who wore all black clothing hit a pair of Loaf N Jug convenience stores, one at 4098 Arrowswest Drive and the other across town at 1019 Space Center Drive.

The Space Center Store was robbed at 3 a.m., and the Arrowswest store was robbed just 40 minutes later, police said.

In the Arrowswest robbery, police say the man pulled a pistol on the store's clerk and demanded cigarettes and cash. He left with the money and smokes, running south from the store, police said.

Witnesses described the crook as tall, skinny and dressed in black. That's same description given the robber who got cash from the business on Space Center Drive, police said.

Officers are still looking for the robber.
