Woman arrested after car crash

A driver was critically injured Wednesday night in a traffic crash on Austin Bluffs Parkway near the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

A police report said 20-year-old Kylie Idleman was driving east on the road and going through a curve when her car struck a curb, swerved across the lanes and into oncoming traffic. Her car crashed into two other vehicles, causing one of them to flip. One of the drivers suffered injuries that police said could be life-threatening.

Idleman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, vehicular assault and other charges. She's being held at the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

Police didn't name the driver who was hurt.
