Police hunting robbery suspects

Colorado Springs police want the public's help in locating two men suspected in armed robberies in the past month.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Herbert Benjamin Alexander, 38, suspected in the June 1 robbery of the TCF Bank at 4330 N. Academy Blvd. He is also wanted on suspicion of escape from felony conviction and failure to comply.

Jamil Andre Hopper, 38, is suspected in three gas station and convenience store robberies on June 18th and 19th. He's also wanted for car theft, robbery of a Circle K store and eluding police, a felony. Police say he might be driving a tan 1996 Oldsmobile Aurora with Colorado license plate 081-PWI or a black 1986 Corvette with Colorado license plate 067-TAC, a car police said he stole June 29.
