THE GAZETTE

A Colorado Springs police officer suffered minor injury late Wednesday when his patrol car was struck by another vehicle as he drove on South Circle Drive, police said.

Officer Alan Van't was headed north about 9:15 p.m., approaching Fountain Boulevard on a green light when a green Ford Explorer headed south ran through the light making a left turn in front of the cruiser, and the vehicles collided, according to a police report. He was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police arrested the Explorer's driver, 23-year-old Chamnee Rahmings. She's being held on $1,000 bail at the El Paso County jail. A police report didn't say the charges police are recommending. Jail records show she had outstanding arrest warrants for failure to comply and failure to appear.

What's your view?
Good for him. If God has called Haggard to return to ministry, he should obey.
Haggard should stay out of the ministry. He has too much baggage to lead a church.
I don't care what Haggard does, and I'm sick of hearing about him in the news.
Haggard and anyone crazy enough to attend his church deserve each other.
Haggard has a lot to offer as a pastor. Let's give him a chance.
