Robbers wield hot sauce, fake gun

Colorado Springs police are looking for three people who brandished a fake gun and threw hot sauce in an employee's face during a robbery at about 8:45 a.m. today at EZ Check Cash, 521 S. Circle Drive.
The three were masked with bandanas, police said, and were reported to have driven away in a green Honda Civic.
The employee complained that her face was burning from the hot sauce, but she did not appear to have been injured.
Police said the suspects got away with a purse and a bag with unspecified contents.
