Officer suffers minor injury during arrest attempt

A Colorado Springs police officer hurt his hand early this morning when he tried to arrest a man for domestic violence.

According to police, they were responding to a domestic violence call about 12:40 a.m. on Montbello Drive West, in northeastern Colorado Springs. Police said that  Eric Wilbur was struggling with two officers when they tried to arrest him and all three fell to the ground during the fight. One officer injured his hand and was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released for his injuries.

Wilbur had minor injuries from the fight.
