Obama holding rally in Pueblo
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle will host a "Change We Need Rally" Saturday in Pueblo.
Tickets are not required for the public rally which starts at 3 p.m. Gates open at 1 p.m.
Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The rally will be in the heart of the Union Avenue Historic District at the intersection of South Union Ave. and D Street.
The public entrance is at the corner of C and south Main streets
There will be limited downtown parking in lots and on streets.
Public transportation is encouraged. Bus tickets are $1 for adults and 75 cents for students.
But it might be a long walk back.
"The last bus leaving downtown is 5 or 5:30 p.m., so if this rally lasts longer than that there might not be bus service to get back," said Judy Kagey of the Pueblo transit service.
The Gazette will be live-blogging this event. Check back to gazette.com on Saturday afternoon for the live blog and a full report.
