Snowboarder killed at Breckenridge

BRECKENRIDGE - A 33-yearold snowboarder died Sunday after an accident in a terrain park at Breckenridge Ski Resort, ski area officials said.

Ski patrol members arrived to find the man near a jump in the terrain park, spokeswoman Nicky DeFord said. The resort was still investigating what happened. He was wearing a helmet.

The man, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Resort officials said the man was from Kansas, but his hometown was not immediately available.
