Colorado teachers say plagiarism rising

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

DENVER — Colorado educators say they're concerned after catching more students committing plagiarism.

Educators say better technology is helping them catch violators. It's also making it easier for students to copy the work of other writers.

According to the Denver Post (http://bit.ly/xtoIJe ), college professors and public school teachers say many students know they're violating the rules, but they do it anyway. Sanctions can include a flunking grade, suspension or expulsion.
