Cold weather, delays continue
Expect another cold day today, but little snow.
According to the National Weather Service, the snow has quit falling for the most part, and the sun should peek out. However, temperatures are expected to stay chilly, with a high of 27 degrees predicted. Wind chills, though, will make outside temperatures feel between 0 and 10 degrees.
Snow that is still on the roads has made current conditions slick, and the Colorado Springs Police Department remains on accident alert status. If you are involved in a crash that doesn’t involve injuries or alcohol or drugs, you are encouraged to exchange information and report the crash within 72 hours.

The current conditions have also put Fort Carson on a two-hour delay for the second day. A few local schools are also on delay. Click http://www.gazette.com/news/weather-64231-closed-schools.html for a full list of closures and delays.
