A roundup of major road construction in the Pikes Peak area:

Cimarron bridge - Closed for replacement. The Cimarron Street exit off Interstate 25 will remain open during construction, but traffic will only be able to go west. Portions of Conejos Street will be closed periodically during construction. Detour signs will route motorists to Bijou Street, Colorado Avenue or South Nevada Avenue. Sierra Madre Street will be a secondary detour route.

Templeton Gap Trail under Austin Bluffs Parkway detour - Closed for utility work and bridge construction. Trail users should cross at Union Boulevard on the south side of the intersection and Austin Bluffs Parkway on the west side.

Eastbound and Westbound Woodmen Road between Duryea Street and Powers Boulevard - Entrance to Rustic Lane is closed. Reduced speed limits at construction site.

U.S. 24 westbound between Cascade and Manitou Springs (Milemarker 297) - Single lane closures between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for crack sealing.

Colorado 115 northbound and southbound between Nelson Boulevard (Fort Carson Main Gate) and Cheyenne Meadows Road (Milemarker 42) - Single lane closures between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for crack sealing.

City digout and patchback work will take place on the following roads from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. today to Friday: - Union Boulevard from Vickers Drive to Garmish Road; Millstream Terrace from Rio Grande Street to Lower Gold Camp Road; Whistler Hollow Drive; Rio Grande Street from Penrose Stadium to Moreno Avenue; Constitution Avenue from Sussex Street to Warwick Lane; Constitution Avenue from Auburn Drive to Wynkoop Drive.

Curb, gutter and pedestrian ramp work will take place on the following roads from 6 a.m. through 6 p.m. today to Friday: - Inspiration Drive from Sodbuster Terrace to Artistic Circle; Springlake Circle from Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard to Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard; Colorado Avenue from Pikes Peak Avenue to Weber Street; Boulder Street from Union Boulevard to Platte Avenue; Murray Boulevard from San Miguel Street to Galley Road; Westbound Maizeland Road from Chelton Road to Circle Drive; Saddlerock Road from Cambria Street to Flintridge Drive; 21st Street from Colorado Avenue to Uintah Street; Kiowa Street from 21st Street to 20th Street; West Platte Avenue from 21st Street to 20th Street; Pearl Street from Armstrong Avenue to dead end; Kiowa Street from 30th Street to dead end east.

Galley Road and Hathaway Road intersection - Intersection will be closed from Wednesday through Friday for a water valve replacement. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Ford Street south to the frontage road around to Hathaway Road, then to Western Drive. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Cree Drive to Seneca Road to Ford Street.
