PPCC students graduates Saturday
More than 1,700 students will graduate from Pikes Peak Community College at 2 p.m. Saturday in the auditorium of New Life Church, 11025 Voyager Parkway, next to the PPCC Rampart Range Campus. The keynote speaker will be Colette Berge, interim vice president for student services at PPCC.
Student awards for leadership, service and inspirational achievement also will be handed out.

CC graduation closing Cascade Monday
Cascade Avenue will be closed from Uintah to Cache la Poudre streets from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday for the Colorado College graduation ceremony, which begins at 8:30 a.m.
Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet will address the graduating class of 447 undergraduates and nine master of arts in teaching students during the ceremony.
Bennet and authors James Salter and David Quammen will receive honorary degrees from CC.

Springs students headed to math competition
Two Colorado Springs students have been named to one of two Colorado teams that will compete in the American Regions Math League competition in Las Vegas May 29-30.
The 15-member A division will include Shuli Song, a junior at The Classical Academy, and Allan Gardner, a junior at St. Mary's High School. The Colorado program is hosted by the University of Colorado's Math Circle, which provides monthly math discussions and exercises for high school and middle school students.
