Man, woman suffer superficial wounds in apparent robbery

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

A couple shot in an alley behind their home Wednesday night during an apparent attempted robbery are both in good condition, police said this morning.

Both people were "grazed" and declined to go to the hospital.

Police are looking for two Hispanic men driving a light-colored Dodge Intrepid in connection with the shooting.

The couple, a 42-year-old man and 46-year-old woman, arrived at their home in the 2200 block of Robin Dr., northeast of Patty Jewett Golf Course near Constitution Avenue and Union Boulevard. The pair told police they were approached by the two men for money before being shot about 10 p.m.
