Officials: Man committed suicide

Officials at the El Paso County Coroner’s Office said a man whose decomposed body was found Friday in the area of St. Mary’s Falls in Cheyenne Canon Park committed suicide.
The man died from a gunshot to the head, a spokesman said.
Dental records will be needed to identify him, according to the coroner’s office. The body has likely been there for months, possibly before Jan. 1.
