Craigslist suspect's ex-fiancee ends relationship

BOSTON • The former fiancee of a man accused in the killing of a masseuse he met on Craigslist has told him she won't see him again.

The lawyer for Megan McAllister said his client visited Philip Markoff on June 11.

Robert Honecker says McAllister told Markoff she was going to medical school, didn't expect to return to Boston and it would be "a long period of time, if ever, that she would see him again."

McAllister canceled her August wedding to Markoff after he was accused in the April killing of Julissa Brisman. Markoff was ordered held without bail after pleading not guilty Monday.

Honecker says McAllister still loves the man she knew, it's unclear if Markoff ever was that man.

Honecker appeared today on ABC's "Good Morning America" and NBC's "Today" show.
