UPDATE: Teacher arrest
Comments 0 | Recommend 0THE CASE: A 73-year-old substitute teacher at Wasson High School was arrested by Colorado Springs police Feb. 15. A 15-year-old boy told police the male teacher offered to pay him $1,000 to allow the teacher to perform oral sex on him, according to an arrest affidavit. Police later had the student call the teacher and taped the man arranging a time and place for him to meet the student and pay him $20 for sex, the affidavit states.

WHAT’S NEW: Prosecutors on Wednesday filed a felony charge of solicitation for child prostitution. He could face up to life in prison if convicted of the sex offense.
WHAT’S NEXT: Clark, who remains free on $10,000 bail, was ordered to return to court April 23 for a possible disposition. Clark will not be allowed to return as a substitute while the case is pending, according to a Colorado Springs School District 11 spokeswoman.
