Winter weather on tap for Tuesday

The Gazette

Temperatures are expected to hit the 40s Monday before another storm front moves into the Pikes Peak region.

Flakes could start falling in Colorado Springs Tuesday night and linger through Wednesday morning. Forecasters haven’t predicted snow totals yet, but say the snow will be heavier than what the region saw in Saturday’s storm.

Forecasters say the storm will be gone Wednesday night and high temperatures will climb into the mid-40s for the balance of the work week.
