Voters invited to election forums Tuesday, Wednesday

The Citizens Project and others are hosting two election forums Tuesday and Wednesday.

Tuesday’s forum will include all seven mayoral candidates, and the forum on Wednesday will include many of the candidates running for City Council.

Both forums, which are free and open to the public, will be at the Stargazers Theatre and Event Center, 10 Parkside Drive. Both will be from 5:30-7 p.m.

“We’ve been hosting nonpartisan candidate forums for the last 18 years for every local election,” said Kristy Milligan, executive director of the Citizens Project.

“I would say that this is the most important election our city has seen in decades, and there’s a lot of interest,” she said.
