33 suspected of drunken driving over Halloween weekend
Some Halloween revelers have more to worry about than rotten pumpkins and the prospect of a cavity or two.
Thirty-three people were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving over a three-day period beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Colorado Springs police said.
Police expanded their DUI patrols - from five to nine - to help keep Halloween mayhem to a minimum. The extra patrols were funded through a state Department of Transportation grant.
